Non – judgemental Approach
I have many years of experience working with young people and lots of success too. I understand how daunting it can be meeting someone new and beginning counselling, but I will provide you with a safe space where it’s ok to talk about how you feel. I am an adult but I do not have the same role as the other adults in your life- I’m not a teacher trying to get you the best grades or a parent telling you to behave. I am simply a friendly face who will listen and give you the chance to find effective ways of being you. Everything you tell me is confidential (unless I believe you are in serious danger) and we can talk about things that are important to you and how you feel, with the goal being to help you feel happier in everyday life.
Time for You
It is very likely that you have many pressures in your life and very little time for you- and this is what I can offer you- time to think about yourself and what makes you happy- and how to get more of it into your life. There may be elements of your past that you wish to explore, which can help you to understand where you’ve ended up, or you may want to focus on whatever is bothering you at the moment. My flexible approach will allow you to work on whatever you are ready, willing and able to do. I understand how difficult it can be to find a good balance in life and to always feel like no matter how hard you try; you don’t end up where you want to be. I have a wide range of experience working with a large variety of problems and I would love to help you find what you need to overcome yours.
